You might have heard it on Studio Brussel: SABREPULSE, who never appears without his Gameboy, will return to Rock Herk for a second time. Sabrepulse makes chip break music, easy to dance to, an explosive mix of chiptune and breakcore, and is part of the top of the contemporary international dance scene.

You might have read it on their Myspace, and we love to confirm the message: A PLACE TO BURY STRANGERS, a noise rock band from New York is coming to Rock Herk for their only Belgian show this summer. Seeing the band live is a complete sensation. The music of A Place To Bury Strangers is often linked to Joy Division, The Jesus and Mary Chain and My Bloody Valentine.

You might have wished for this: TEX TAIWAN will release their electro punk demons at Rock Herk. The music of this energetic duo sounds like a rollercoaster full of 8-bit sounds and is the Belgian answer to the electro trash of international acts such as Crystal Castles, Kap Bambino and Atari Teenage Riot.
