Just grab a towel, slip into your flip flops and enjoy the moment. Ever waited in line at the club to get a paper receipt to then head to the bar and wait again? With your wristband you can now skip this step. Also, where was that cash machine again? This year you will be all set with your SUNANDBASS wristband.

Everyone Even non-ticket holders can contribute to stage participating in SUNANDBASS by using a cashless wristband onsite, even if you didn't manage to purchase a pre-sale ticket..

What is "cashless' and why does SUNANDBASS go cashless?

Cashless is a payment system that makes transactions inside the event faster and easier. You will have a wristband to which you can charge the amount of money that you plan to spend and use it at selected venues, bars and shops in San Teodoro.

We think it's about time to redefine your SUNANDBASS experience and obvious advantages of going cashless are:

• Eliminate currency exchange losses
• Never again standing thirsty in front of an empty cash machine
• No wallets at the beach, just a towel
• Cut the paper receipt lines in bars and the club

However and more importantly we want our full immersive Drum'n'Bass holiday, where we all come and go as we like, eat and drink where we enjoy it most and stay at our favorite places without worrying about a thing. We believe, a cashless payment solution can further allow us to set up SUNANDBASS in our free-spirited way: While we get a little share of what the partner locations earn, we can also show our colours to our hosts in at San Teodoro. That's why we really hope all of you are happy to support us by using your cashless wristband, when you're paying for food and drinks in San Teodoro. We will do our utmost to make this a most comfortable journey for you. And maybe one day... this will build us the floating stage with inflatable water slides

Do I need to use cashless payments?

Our night time venues will be strictly cashless, so to buy a drink you'll be only able to pay with credits on your wristband. Ambra Day and La Cinta Beach Club will also accept alternative payment methods.

Where can I pay with my wristband?

You can use your cashless wristband all official SUNANDBASS venues including Al Faro and La Posta. The payment method is valid from first day of official check-in on Friday, 6 September from 4.00 PM until our final gathering at La Posta (venue closes on Monday, 16 September at 3.00 AM). Why should I create a personal account online?

Creating a personal account and linking it to your credit card you can manage your balance online and enable features like automatic top ups. With your personal accounts you will also get a free of charge automated refund of unspent credits in your home currency. As we have quite an international crowd, with mostly non-Euro customers we thought about this thoroughly. Our aim was to create a hassle-free solution that makes the overall experience better.

How can I register my personal account online?

On the homepage you can see 2 options: login or sign up, click "Sign up!".
Choose the email address you'd like to have linked to your ticket/personal account (attention: only 1 ticket/personal account can be linked per email address).
Choose a memorable password and confirm by clicking "sign-up".

You can confirm your details by:

• text message: fill in your phone number and you will receive a code by text message that you need to fill in. Confirm after filling in the code.
• by mail: you will receive a mail with a link to click on. By clicking this link you will be sent to your account to complete your registration.

Fill in all the required information to set up your personal account, accept the Terms & Conditions and confirm.

If you're already inside the event and you don't have a ticket number, you can still register using the unique code that you can find on the back of your wristband and enjoy the same advantages of automated top up or automated refunds.

Where can I pay with my wristband?

I don't want to create a personal account, can I still get a cashless wristband?

Creating a personal account offers a lot of benefits like online and even automated top ups or free of charge refunds of the unused balance after the event is over. If you do not want to create a personal account you can still get a cashless wristband. Without a personal cashless account you can only charge credits on one of the onsite top-up stations with cash or card. Be aware of refund conditions (see respective section).

How can I charge or top up my wristband on-site and online?

Onsite you can charge your wristband with card or cash at our top up stations at La Cinta Beach Club and Ambra Night. Charging your wristband online in your personal account is possible before and during the event. Go to the SUNANDBASS cashless account website and register with your email and ticket number or of you don't have a ticket number, you can still register using the unique code that you can find on the back of your chip on the wristband. From settings select the top-up option that you prefer. Add it to the basket and pay with any available payment options. With a personal cashless account you can also set up automatic top-ups.

How much should I charge into my wristband and what happens if I lose it?

You can charge as much as you want but please be careful with your wristband! Losing it is like losing your wallet and your ticket, so remember to tighten your wristband properly to your wrist. In case of loss or theft, please get in touch at one of to the SUNANDBASS desks at La Cinta Beach Club or Ambra Night and we will try to solve the issue. NOTE: A potentially replaced wristband won't have any of the credits you had on your previous wristband.

Where do I get my cashless festival wristband?

You can pick up your combined festival and cashless SUNANDBASS wristband at official check in at Al Faro on Friday and Saturday or at the Club as usual. We will also have a desk at La Cinta Beach Club. If you are not a Full Week or Single Night ticket holder you can still buy a cashless wristband at all above mentioned locations.

What happens if I don't have enough credit on my wristband?

´If the balance on your wristband/card is too low, you won't be able to pay. The operator will ask you to go to top-up at any of the top-up booths and will indicate the one closest to you. To avoid queues, you can top-up online too in your personal account. And if you selected an automatic top-up online, you'll never need to top-up during the event, as your balance will update automatically.

What happens if I lose my wristband?

Losing it is like losing your wallet and your ticket, so remember to tighten your wristband properly to your wrist. In case of loss or theft, please get in touch at one of to the SUNANDBASS desks at La Cinta Beach Club or Ambra Night and we will try to solve the issue.
NOTE: A potentially replaced wristband might not have any of the credits you had on your previous wristband especially if you have not registered for your online cashless account.

Can I recover unspent balance?

If you did not spend all your credits on your wristband you can refund the balance. We are NOT offering any refunds on site. After SUNANDBASS we'll release a refund form, where you can apply from on Wednesday 18th until 30th of September 2019 for recovering unused credits.
This is for everyone who has not subscribed on automated refunds and the respective costs and fees for the bank transfer will be deducted.

Refunds with a personal cashless account

If you do register for a personal account and connect your credit card we will automatically recover all the credit you didn't use, free of charge and in your home currency. However we can refund only as much as you did top up through this Personal Account. If you connect your personal account with a payment method other than credit card, transaction fees occur.

Refunds without a personal cashless account

If you choose not to create a personal account you can request a refund through an online refund form, filling in all personal data needed in order to process your request. You can request this refund from SUNANDBASS until 30 September 2019. Once the period has passed, refunds cannot be processed anymore. The refund will be paid back as soon as possible, latest a week after the refund period is finished. Please take into account that processing all the requested refunds might take some time. If you do not have a personal account, the actually resulting transaction fee will be charged. This means if you do not live within the EU you might end up paying very high banking fees.

If you are hesitant to share any personal data with our cashless payment solution provider by setting up your personal account you can still use cashless as a payment method. You can charge credits to the wristband on-site at one of our top-up stations but please be aware that there won't be any refund of unspent credits on site. For a refund request through online form you will still have to share personal data.
