Sónar returns to South Africa this December (Johannesburg on 12th and Cape Town 15th & 16th), andis completing its line-up for its forthcoming festivals in the Nordic countries, taking place at three of their finest emblematic and architectural spaces : 12th, 13th & 14th February in Reykjavik, and on the same weekend in Stockholm, followed by the first Sónar Copenhagen on 13th & 14th March.

South Africa
A Taste of Sónar Johannesburg will take place at the Nasrec Expo Centre on 12th December, with performances from the Pet Shop Boys, 2manydjs and The Bloody Beetroots. Two days later, Sónar Cape Town will be held at The Good Hope Centre on 15th & 16th of the same month. Joining the above acts will be Jon Hopkins, Ten Walls, Spoek Mathambo and UZ, among many others.

Iceland
Following the success of the first two Icelandic festivals, the third Sónar Reykjavík will be held on 12th, 13th & 14th February. It will feature over 60 performances headed by American star Skrillex and leading international figures like Paul Kalkbrenner, Todd Terje, SBTRKT, Nina Kraviz, TV On The Radio and Kindness, among many others. Sónar Reykjavik will once again take place across 5 stages in the Harpa Concert Hall, one of the most extraordinary concert buildings in Europe. Sweden
The second Sónar Stockholm increases its capacity and will be held in a new venue. For two days on 13th & 14th February, the festival will host three stages in the spectacular Stockholm Waterfront Congress Centre. In total there will be more than 40 performances, including SBTRKT, Paul Kalkbrenner, Sophie, Tokimonsta, Nina Kraviz and Alizz.

Denmark
The Sónar experience arrives for the first time in Denmark. Sónar Copenhagen will take place on 13th & 14th March, and will run across 3 stages at the DR Koncerthuset, the architectural gem designed by Jean Nouvel that offers the best sound and visual setting for experiencing live shows. The 40 scheduled performances include the likes of Metronomy, Kiasmos, Factory Floor and Daniel Avery, among many others.
