ILOVETECHNO: The event is something special (10.11.12) what is your favorite number (or number sequence) and why? Is it superstition?
Zeds Dead:  "I like 7.8.9 because 7 (the underdog) overcame adversity and ate 9 (the larger number)."

ILOVETECHNO: What do you do before you go on stage ?
Zeds Dead:  "Arrive at the venue of course "

ILOVETECHNO: What are you doing at I Love Techno this year?
Zeds Dead: "Taking the crowd on an auditory journey that abstractly mirrors my life."

ILOVETECHNO: Who else are you looking forward to seeing at I Love Techno?
Zeds Dead: "You actually, since we did this over email I'm curious to how you look in person. "

ILOVETECHNO: What is your favourite techno track of all time?
Zeds Dead: "Maybe Aphex Twin - Window Licker, although I'm not even sure if that's proper techno."

ILOVETECHNO: What do you love about the I Love Techno festival? How does it compare to other festivals?
Zeds Dead: "I'll have to get back to you on that one."

ILOVETECHNO: Best I Love Techno memory?
Zeds Dead: "The one where I travelled to the future and played the best set of my life. I can't say any more about it though as it may disturb the time-spaced continuum."

ILOVETECHNO: What are your big tracks at the moment?
Zeds Dead: "Two by Culprate is an amazing song. Also Gun Talk by Baobinga and I.D. ft Ryder Shafique (Kahn Remix). Both of those are on more stuff I listen to than play out."

ILOVETECHNO: Do you have any favourite new artists to look out for?
Zeds Dead: "Check out Memorecks and Ambalance."

ILOVETECHNO: What else have you got going on?
Zeds Dead: "We just did a remix for Marina and the Diamonds that should be coming out early 2013. We also are finishing up an EP right now that hopefully will be out before winter. Other than that, lots of touring."

ILOVETECHNO: What are the first thoughts that come to your mind when you hear the word "Belgium"?
Zeds Dead: "It brings to mind when last year one of our friends from Bare Noize got arrested for taking a piss in the lobby of our hotel in Brussels."

ILOVETECHNO: What is techno, to you?
Zeds Dead: "When I was really young my parents were in an HMV and there was a song playing by a techno group called Grid. My dad jokingly said he liked it but my mom didn't read the sarcasm. She ended up getting it for him for his birthday. Of course he didn't actually like it so I ended up with it. The word techno will always make me think of that CD."
