The weekend has landed with thousands of festival goers heading to the fields of Daresbury for what is set to be the festival of the summer!

Before you leave please take note of this last minute essential advice to make sure you have the best experience possible at the festival!

Prepare for all weather conditions

Summer in the UK wouldn't be the same without the occasional shower and this week has been no exception so be prepared for soft ground on entrance to the festival and on-site.

We suggest you invest in a good pair of wellies, a waterproof and warm clothing for the evening. Remember, there are no pass-outs at Creamfields so be sure to bring everything you need for the weekend with you when you leave your car. There are lockers located in the event arena for any valuables.

Creamfields ID Policy – Challenge 21 in Operation

Creamfields is an over 18s event and will be operating the Challenge 21 scheme with wristbands given to ticketholders once they have provided satisfactory proof of age.

Driving to Creamfields

The routes to Creamfields will be clearly signposted to help avoid traffic snarl ups and ensure everyone gets maximum time at the festival and minimum time on the motorway.

Please take note of our advice below.

  • Allow plenty of time to get to the festival, car parks will open at 7am.
  • Follow the designated routes to get to the event
  • Do not use sat nav as a traffic management plan is in place and there will be roads blocked off.
  • Please turn off at junction 11 OR 12 of the M56 then pick up the Creamfields traffic signs.
  • Stick to the speed restrictions - there will be pedestrians in the area.
  • Please be patient, roads will be busy. Check the local radio travel news for updates.

Don't leave things in your car that you will need

Remember there are no pass outs at Creamfields so be sure to bring everything you need for the weekend with you when you have your car.

There are lockers located in the event arena for any valuables.

Shuttle buses

We have now reached full capacity for our shuttle bus service from Manchester to the site. We suggest you travel from Warrington Central or Runcorn and use the shuttle bus service provided there.

You will be able to purchase tickets from the site returning to Manchester from the shuttle bus box office.

Beware of wristband sellers and fake tickets

Wristbands will not grant you access to the show, if you do find people trying to sell them to you please do not buy them, they don't hold any value and you are wasting your hard earned cash!

We have also had a few enquires regarding secondary ticket sites and ebay. Cream cannot support or verify the authenticity of any sites that claim to have tickets on sale as this is a sell out show.

There will be no tickets on sale at the gate, if you do find people selling them please be warned that these are likely to be fake.

Keep Yourself and Your Belongings Safe

  • Security will be tight - this event is ticket only and festival goers must be over 18 (See our ID policy above)
  • Be aware of your surroundings - remember that you are safer in a group. Organise a meeting point with your friends to ensure no one gets lost.
  • Look after your belongings - make sure you keep your mobile, iPod and wallet/purse safe and out of sight.
  • Don't risk having your mobile snatched - use your phone in well-lit areas and keep it safe. Mobile charging units will be available on site so you can keep in touch with your group.
  • Do not leave valuables in tents - please make use of the lockers which will be available in the main arena during the event
  • Do not leave valuable items on display in your car.

Advice from Cheshire Police

Creamfields will be working closely with Cheshire police throughout the weekend to ensure the safety of festival goers and to minimise disruption for residents during the event. This will include strict searches for drugs and weapons and ID checks.
