Thousands of dance music lovers partied all weekend at the YAS ARENA, Yas Island for the 3rd installment of Creamfields in Abu Dhabi. Party goers arrived expecting nothing but a weekend filled with high-energy dance music, and the Capital delivered for the regions biggest annual electronic music festival.

With over 20 hours of music spread out across a main stage and two dance arenas, this years show ran across 2 days for the first time with the Opening night on Thursday headlined by the mighty deadmau5 who performed a stunning two-hour set, while UK sensation Katy B showed why she was one of the stars of the future, belting out hits from her debut album, "On a Mission'. The young songbird, who teamed up with Mark Ronson earlier this year to create the theme song for the 2012 London Olympic Games, brought an urban twist to proceedings on the main stage.

The party continued late into the night, with US-based German trance spinner and producer Markus Schulz delivering on his promise, to play some new tracks from his forthcoming album. Schulz also watched on as his close friends Ferry Cortsen and Jochen Miller appeared on stage. Ferry Cortsen raised the roof of the arena whilst fans also enjoyed an awesome set from fellow Dutchman Jochen Miller, who played in Abu Dhabi earlier this year opening for Armin Van Buuren at the Flash Forum. Performing his latest hit BAMM, the progressive electro dance DJ, remains one of the hottest young DJs on the scene. Thursday night also saw performances from John Digweed, Yousef and a host of local and international artists.

Carrying their day-2 pass, thousands of revellers returned on Friday, to see another impressive lineup of stars. The highlight of the night and arguably the weekend was the headliner and world's number 1 DJ Tiesto, as well as live act Tinie Tempah. The 2011 Brit Award Best Breakthrough Act, rapper Tinie Tempah, performed his award winning hit "Pass Out', along with another number one hit "Written in the Stars', as well as, UK top five hits "Frisky' and popular club hit "Miami 2 Ibiza'.

Tiesto, who recently wrapped up his Kaleidoscope World Tour delivered a standout performance featuring samples from Coldplay and the Red Hot Chilli Peppers. His set was made all the more memorable by a series of spectacular fireworks launched from the roof of Ferrari World, and confetti cannons showering the capacity crowd

The night also saw Laidback Luke play hits from his new album "Cream Ibiza Super You and Me'. Italian duo Italoboyz, Glasgow pair Slam, Riva Starr, Marco Carola, Derrick Carter, Mad Jam, and many more wrapped up another season of Creamfields Abu Dhabi. Roll on 2012!
