Boom has been inputting knowledge and culture into the party domain for more than a decade. We believe in entertainment as a way of presenting solutions, not only a party experience; with the Liminal Village we emphasized the paradigm shift, the network of transformative minds and visionary culture.

One of the innovations of Boom 2010 is a cutting edge idea of meltdown between knowledge and performing arts. The Liminal Village and Theatroom are joining together in a new area of the festival: The Drop. We commissioned bamboo artist Gerard Minakawa (www.bamboodna.com) to build an astonishing bio-construction architecture project for the area.

The inspiration for The Drop comes from the Aquarian symbol of the Water Bearer. Concerned with individual freedom it symbolizes an eternal giving of life and spiritual food to the world. The water from the vessel washes away the past, leaving room for a fresh, new start through knowledge.

The Drop encompasses the Liminal Zone, the Theatroom, the Visionary Art Gallery and Paradigms Films. As Terence McKenna epitomized: ?Be Prepared?!
