We are still riding high off the memories of our best Great Escape yet and an overall fantastic few days in Brighton. During the festival we were incredibly proud to host the official launch of the Momentum Music Fund which does a superb job at offering a lifeline to emerging artists.

The £500,000 investment scheme was set up by PRS for Music Foundation and Arts Council England to develop the careers of talented artists and bands by providing them with financial support.

Speaking at the launch at The Great Escape festival, Vanessa Reed, Executive Director of PRS for Music Foundation said: "It's entirely fitting that today's announcement is being made at The Great Escape where we're surrounded by exactly the kind of artists and bands that this fund is designed for. I hope that many of them will enter the application process and use this opportunity to drive their career to the next level."
