You don’t need us to tell you that Massive Attack’s Daddy G is a bonafide Bristol legend, and fresh from winning over Ibiza clubbers with some magical sets this summer, he’s set to touch down at Sunsplash this year in what’s sure to be a festival highlight!

Almost 25 years after emerging with the city’s Wild Bunch sound system of DJs, rappers and MCs, G remains a pivatol figure in the UK music scene alongside Massive’s Robert del Naja.

The pair collaborated with dubstep pioneer Burial last year on a two-track EP that sent shockwaves through the blogosphere, and beyond, proving the trip-hoppers had lost none of their sense of dramatic dub and spatial sonics over the years.
