Mastodon got here in the end and put in a storming show, while Team Sonisphere got to the bottom of the mystery of why they can’t seem to get anywhere on time.

“We woke up in the middle of nowhere and had a busted hose on our bus,” explains bassist Troy Sander’s brother, Darren. “Fortunately we’re touring with Lamb of God so we gave them a call and asked if we could switch.”

So it wasn’t a Fourth of July party? “No, that’s bullshit. The busted hose was to blame for us missing the Holland show too.” Well that clears that up.
