The next edition of Sónar Reykjavik announces its headline acts, which represent the international flavour of Sónar as well as some of the most standout artists from Iceland and the Nordic scene. The event will be held at the Icelandic capital's Harpa auditorium on 12, 13 & 14 February 2015.

Skrillex, the enormously popular and a globally recognised figure -both in the US and across Europe- will perform for the very first time in Iceland, one of his intense and electrifying shows where dubstep, acid, hardcore and techno collide.

Some of the international scene's principal names will join him at Sónar Reykjavik, such as: Paul Kalkbrenner with a brand new LP release and one of his always successful magnetic live shows; Nina Kraviz, widely regarded as one of the best DJs in the world; Norwegian Todd Terje, linchpin of the cosmic disco sound and creator of some of the most memorable dance floor hits in recent years; and the organic minimalism of Japanese female trio Nisennenmondai, who will provide a complete on stage sensory experience.

Also performing will be young Swedish MC Yung Len -together with his collective Sad Boys- and Catalan Alizzz, now regarded as one of the Spanish electronic scene's most internationally recognised talents. Both visit first Iceland for the first time.

This year the festival will once more showcase some of today's most interesting and innovative Icelandic artists: Female trio Samaris (electronics, clarinet, vocals) return after their successful first performance at the festival; The same applies to Mugison who will perform a set of brand new dance electronica made especially for the occasion; Also performing will be the remarkable Prins Póló (electronic songs with folk melodies); Uni Stefson (synthetic and melancholic pop); and Young Karin (melodic sampling trip-hop).
