Hysterica is a band consisting of five rock hard women who formed in 2005 by a person with a very strong vision of creating a band that would be something extraordinary.

The debute album "METALWAR" was released in 2009 and mixed by Peter "Pain" Tägtgren.
2010 the band won the award for "Best Newcomer" at Swedish Metal Awards, and a new album began to take shape ...

With Hysterica's second album "The Art of Metal" which was released in March 2012 the band takes a giant step forward. The band plays melodic classic doom and power metal, and with this second album expanded the sound with keyboards, extreme vocals and epic choruses.

Pontus Norgren (Hammerfall) and Marcus Jidell (Evergrey) produced the album. Anni De Vil has become a perfect singer with her melodic vocals that are mixed with a growl. Hysterica wanted with album to broaden their horizons.
