Today's ARTIST OF THE DAY is the brilliant ASH.

Inspired at the outset by the likes of Nirvana, Mudhoney and The Pixies, Irish rock group ASH have notched up five studio albums (and a mini album) and countless top 40 hits. "Girl From Mars', "Oh Yeah', "Burn Baby Burn'... ASH make really, really great pop songs.

Heralded as the ultimate singles band, 2012 sees the 3-piece celebrate their 20^th anniversary and where better than a stop off at Dores for the best festival audience in the world. We can't wait.

ASH headline the Clash Arena on Sunday 10^th June.

We simply didn't know where to begin when trying to choose a track from today's ANTHEM  OF THE DAY artist; CHIC featuring NILE RODGERS.

CHIC's roll call of all time dance classics include "Good Times', "I Want Your Love', "Le Freak', "Dance, Dance' Dance' and "My Forbidden Lover'...we really could go on and on and on.

You can probably tell we're beyond excited about welcoming the funkiest band on the freakin' planet to Dores!
