We?re excited to report that L.A.’s Spindrift will be part of the 2011 Roadburn Festival Afterburner lineup, set for Sunday, April 17th at the 013 venue in Tilburg, Holland.

Mixing the dusty, cinematic soundscapes of old spaghetti-western movies with the mind-expanding psych rock of modern practitioners like The Dandy Warhols and Brian Jonestown Massacre (not to mention drone forefathers The Velvet Undergound, LA?s Spindrift makes music that sounds like what one would hear while tripping in the desert on a vision quest.

There are still tickets available for the Roadburn Afterburner on Sunday April 17^th. The overall vibe of the 2011 Afterburner leans towards the old-school Roadburn Festivals, as we have put emphasis on classic psychedelic rock (Black Mountain, Dead Meadow, Spindrift), doom (Blood Farmers, Coffins, Sourvein, Black Pyramid) and stoner rock (Dragontears, Samsara Blues Experiment, Gomer Pyle) like we used to do in the past.
