Resurrection Fest 2015 - Thursday 16 - Black Label Society

Thousands of people gathered yesterday during the first main day of Resurrection Fest with the melodic hardcore of Refused, headliners of last Thursday, and the emblematic Zakk Wylde and his band Black Label Society, with a concert that will be historic for the festival.

After the successful warm up party of Wednesday where attendants, families and onlookers approached the venue to see performances of the likes of Bastards On Parade, Pro-Pain or Biohazard, yesterday at 13:30 the doors opened for a new Resurrection Fest edition. With a very warm and sunny weather, the public could enjoy 24 bands distributed among 3 stages, bringing the best hardcore, punk and metal to Viveiro. Highlighting the previously mentioned Refused, one of the most requested bands of the festival for years, and the overwhelming show of Zakk Wylde and his guitar with eternal solos for fan's delight, we cannot forget to tell about Soulfly and Max Cavalera (ex-Sepultura), Cannibal Corpse, the return of Suicide Silence being the first time with their new singer Eddie Hermida after the sad decease of Mitch Lucker shortly after their last show in Viveiro, and the always-powerful Comeback Kid, who love the festival since their first show.

Among Spanish bands, we must note the last two shows of the day with two of the most loved bands of our crowd: Berri Txarrak and Toundra.

We did not have only shows but also signing sessions, trial and skate shows, Resukids visits, giveaways and many more. Today we will have more people, more activities, more music and more fun. Motörhead and the legendary Lemmy Kilmister will arrive today, along with the Swedes metallers In Flames or the Finnish band Children of Bodom. Viveiro will be once again the capital of music in the whole Europe during this weekend.
