The week prior to the new edition of the San Miguel Primavera Sound, Barcelona will be flooded with music at "Primavera a la Ciutat". The music lovers' marathon will start on Friday the 21st of May with the traditional concerts in the underground of the city (Primavera Sound baixa al Metro), where The Nu Niles, Internet 2, 3Mellizas and Blackbird will perform.

From Monday the 24th there will be a series of showcases in the Apolo, La [2], Monasterio and Fantástico, where "Primavera A Viva Veu" will take place, a collaboration with A Viva Veu (cycle of acoustic concerts which take place all year round in Fantástico). Nacho Umbert, Montañas, Fred I Son, Pelea, Montañas and Bedroom will perform in this venue. Also national and international labels like Acuarela, La Castanya, Heart Of Gold, Aloud, Birra y Perdiz and Wichita (who are also celebrating their tenth anniversary with a party) will bring us a multitude of different artists: Los Campesinos!, The Morning Benders, Peggy Sue, The Wowz, First Aid Kit, Kokoshcs, Me And The Bees, Ching Chong Song, Maika Makovski, Toundra, Furguson, Two Dead Cats, Pájaro Sunrise and La Otra Gloria.

Not to be missed, there will be a few shows at Joan Miró Park (Primavera al Parc) on 29th and 30th of May. Following bands have been added to the line-up: A Sunny Day In Glasgow, Circulatory System, Ganglians, Thee Oh Sees, The King Khan & BBQ Show, Real Estate, Dum Dum Girls and The Smith Westerns. These bands will also perform at Parc del Fòrum during the festival.

El Petit De Cal Eril has joined the line up of this edition and will play along with Black Lips and Jeffrey Lewis & The Junkyard on Sunday 30th at the closing party which will be held in the Apolo venue.

TICKETS:

Tomorrow thursday the 15th of April is the last day to buy the full festival tickets and the day tickets at the price of 170 € (+ booking fee) and 70 € (+booking fee) respectively. From Friday the 16th of April the full festival tickets and day tickets will cost 180 € (+ booking fee) and 75 € (+booking fee) respectively.
