Grandpa Candys (?ikine Bombone in Serbian) are the only band in the region who base their sound on very different guitar styles – Rockabilly and Punk. They are from Belgrade, and they have so far published 4 albums. Currently, their video is airing on MTV, for the song Sounds Like a Melody. The band is influenced by various bands, ranging from Hardcore/Punk bands such as 7 Seconds, or the Misfits, all the way to the Neo-Rockabilly band Stray Cats.

They say that their style can be described as “Psychobilly”. They have been around for 13 years, and during that period The Candys have played more than 300 gigs in Serbia and abroad. They have recorded songs for a great number of ‘Various Artists’ albums and remained one of the rare constants on the Rockabilly scene in Serbia. The Candies are bringing the old R'n'R flavor to the Explosive Stage, and their performance will be enriched by their special guest – Maria Margoth, a fashion designer who is famous for her very unique fashion performances.
