Pearl Jam singer was one of the special guests invited by The Who to play with them at the Royal Albert may in London. This performance was the last one of a series of concerts in aid to the Teenage Cancer Trust. Townshend and Daltrey had already promised several surprises for this awaited concert where they were going to interpret "Quadrophenia" completely and for the last time.

Vedder went on the stage to sing "The Punk and The Godfather", the fifth song of the band´s second rock opera.
