We are incredibly sad to hear that Brent Grulke has passed away. He was such a warm person and was always a very welcome face to see at The Great Escape and at the many other international events he attended. He in fact was an advocate of The Great Escape from day one, for which we will always be extremely grateful. Brent helped to launch the careers of up and coming artists worldwide. He will be hugely missed by so many people and by the music industry especially.

Our thoughts are with his family, friends and the team at SXSW.
