Over 15 000 visitors on the first day of a sold out Terraneo in ?ibenik!

Continuing the tradition as of one of the best live bands in the world, The Prodigy have set a new record last night at the first night of Terraneo Festival in ?ibenik. The band thrilled the audience with a two-hour long energetic performance, after which it became clear why their rider included a bottle of oxygen. The Prodigy will certainly go down in Terraneo history as the band that performed in front of the largest crowd so far, as the festival box office sold ut just a few minutes before midnight on the first night of the festival!

Over 15 000 people came to witness last night's opening and the first day of the festival, and along with the sold out festival, the camping tickets are also no longer available as they also sold out. Needless to say, all performers contributed to such a good start o the Festival - performers such as  Emiliana Torrini, The Woods, Norman Jay, Koan Sound, Kawasaki 3P and many more....

Eyesburn had the honor of opening the Terran stage, with their cover of the cult Haustor song, "?ejn". Emiliana Torrini warmed up the audience with her hit-single Jungle Drums, and Fun-da-Mental were an excellent introduction to the spectacle known as The Prodigy. We should also mention that the audience at the festival promenade was entertained by Hot 8 Brass Band, who defintiely know how to raise the festival atmosphere!

Other festival stages also had excellent programs, such as The Woods, Croatian darlings Kawasaki 3P, the provocative Krank?vester while the Red Bull Academy Stage showcased the DJ skills by the legendary Norman Jay, MayaVanya, DJ Spin, DJ Rashad and Petar Dundov.

If you were worried about fiscalization andlong waits at Terraneo, worry no more because the Festival card proved to be a perfect way of payment. For the first time in Croatia, in cooperation with Master Card and Erste Bank, Terraneo entered the festival market with a contactless payment system and set a new standard for festival production!

Also, Terraneo made sure that all visitors had the true summer experience by setting up Terraneo Beach - the perfect place for chilling during the day swimming and enjoying the festival atmosphere! To repeat, the entrance to the beach at Terraneo Beach is free for all visitors to the festival, but also for all visitors from ?ibenik and its surroundings!

Terranea 2013 will continue in the same rhythm on the second day with the Bosnian Rainbows, Gang of Four, Calexico, My Bloody Valentine, Pinknoizu, Rob Garza (Thievery Corporation), Dubioza, Mambo Kurt, Duncan Sheik and many others. The second day of the festival will also be marked by the first Terraneo Boat party where, from 6:00 p.m. to 21:00 pm, DJ Oli Dobolli, DJ Raid, Black Light and MC Tone Tuoro will give the perfect musical background to the picturesque seaside. Ticket price for the party boat is 100kn and can purchased at the bar at Terraneo beach where the boat will cast off.
