NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK

They're the new kids at Stop Making Sense festival, but they're no strangers in their hometown, Zagreb. If you hadn't heard, DJ Madera Verde recently went over to Croatia and joined in a little party at Masters club in Zagreb. It was pretty smashing and he met SMS local line up; Examine, Zero and Brighton also known as the DAS HAUS collective.

Here's the low down on our Croatian compadres, who will be at the decks in August for the Sunday and Monday daytime Beach Bar sessions.

BRIGHTON

Obsessive musicophile from Zagreb with an insatiable thirst for endless hedonism. With the dance floor rumoured to be his second home, Brighton guarantees the knowledge of a dancer's aspiration. Seeing life as a playground for celebration and happiness is his aspiration and we're looking forward to his beach bar session at Stop Making Sense!

ZERO

DJ, producer, label manager, radio host and a time management wizard - this versatile guy has been bringing good music to clubs and festivals in the area for more than a decade now. Zero, is currently enjoying his air time on Radio808 every Wednesday in his own show along with running his imprint Bondage.

EXAMINE

"Creativity is useless if it's no fun", a simple idea that has kept young Zagreb based producer, Examine, floating on machines, waveforms and virtual instruments for years now.
