Team Sonisphere are big fans of Mastodon videos and their latest one is no exception. The new video for single "High Road' showcases their usual visual mix of epicness, nerdiness and just plain silliness against a backdrop of thundering riffs. Apparently the brainchild of drummer Brann Dailor, it depicts a Napoleon Dynamite-esque live-action role player or LARPer transcending his suburban life by training for and taking part in make-believe battles. Featuring a number of real-life LARPers who remind us of some of the colourful characters we encountered at Comic Con the other week, it also features more than the occasional nod to Game Of Thrones.
