Heute ist der erste Todestag von SLIPKNOT-Bassist Paul Gray. Es scheint erst so kurz geschehen zu sein und doch fühlt es sich wie ein ganzes Leben an. Jetzt wo SLIPKNOT ohne No 2 existieren und die ersten Konzerte ohne ihren gefallenen Kameraden anstehen, sind unsere Gedanken beim SLIPKNOT Camp und Paul's Familie und Freunden, welche ihn gerade heute sehr vermissen werden.
Paul lebte für den Moment und liebte es Party zu machen - daher können wir sicher sein, dass Paul will, dass wir uns mit einem Lächeln an ihn erinnern. Trotzdem wird das SLIPKNOT-Set an den diesjährigen SONISPHERE Festivals ein sehr emotionales sein mit sehr vielen positiven Emotionen. Lasst uns Paul's Leben zelebrieren und feiern und nicht seinen zu frühen Tod betrauern.

Year one since Paul Gray's death
Today marks one year since SLIPKNOT bassplayer PAUL GRAY (RIP) tragically passed away. It seems like such a short time has gone by since we heard the terrible news in the run up to last year's festival season, but at the same time, as if a whole age has passed. As the prospect of a SLIPKNOT without No 2 draws closer to reality, and the stage time for their first show without their fallen comrade comes closer, our thoughts are with the SLIPKNOT camp, and all of Paul's family and friends, who must be missing him ever more dearly on this sad anniversary.

As someone who lived for the moment and loved to party, we can be sure that Paul would not want the Maggots to dwell on his passing. Although SLIPKNOT's set at SONISPHERE this year will undoubtedly be an extremely emotional one, we should make sure they are positive emotions, with a focus on celebrating Paul's life, rather than mourning his death.
