Team Sonisphere got Lamb of God?s good-time guitar player, Willie Adler, out of bed this morning. Luckily he was in a good mood so we grabbed a minute to talk wives, music and metal fans?

Do you know where you are?
I have no idea. I?ve just got up. I think we?re in Germany

So what?s rocking on the tour bus at the moment?

Nothing really. We watch a lot of movies man. Yesterday we watched Sexy Beast and The Stand, that huge mini-series by Stephen King. We?re surrounded by music all the time so we don?t really listen to music on the bus.

Who?s your favourite band at the moment?
Probably Gojira from France

You can write one song, what is it?
Probably ?Kashmir? by Led Zeppelin.

Is there an album that changed your life?

Wow?probably Never Mind the Bollocks by the Sex Pistols because it was the hardest thing I?d heard ever. I was listening to Aerosmith and Led Zeppelin and then I heard that and I was like ?wow?.

What or who is your greatest inspiration?
My wife.

What distracts you from making music out on the road?
Everything. Thinking about home and my family.

As a kid, did you always want to grow up to be?

Probably ?and now I?m thinking twice about it [laughs].

Describe your fans.
They?re crazy metal kids man, going nuts. Metal fans are a whole different breed wherever you are. Diehard kids that will sit in the rain and sit outside forever just to say hi and shake your hand. They?re really cool.
