So, Sonisphere rolls back into town. This time our heavy rock circus hits the Hockenheimring, famed for Formula 1. Think high-octane adrenaline! Think metal-heads instead of petrol heads! Think beer jugs, not racing hugs! Think noise! Think noise!

Lamb of God and Down are back, Mastodon will turn up this time (hopefully) and we?re also joined by hard-revving hitters, The Prodigy, Anthrax and local favourites, Die Toten Hosen. Oh, and some band called Metallica will probably incite a sonic riot.

Other than that, Team Sonisphere hear the beers will be big, the jugs will be bigger, and the amps will be louder than that soft racing stuff that normally goes on. We also hear the Germans rock harder than the Dutch. Is it true?
