The Sónar North American Tour brought together more than 15 000 attendees among all the most iconic concert venues of Chicago, Toronto, Montreal, Boston, Denver, Oakland and Los Angeles, with a line-up compiled of North American, South African and European musicians, DJ's and visual artists.

The "Sónar North American Tour' presented shows by Die Antwoord (South Africa), Azari & III (Canada), Seth Troxler (UK), Paul Kalkbrenner (Germany), Tiga (Canada), Gesaffelstein (France), Nic Fanciulli (UK) and the visual collective Pfadfinderei (Germany).

Due to the impact of hurricane Sandy, the show programmed for November the 2nd in New York had to be cancelled. For the rest of the dates the tour went ahead as scheduled.

This tour winds up Sonar's international route for 2012, after festivals held in Barcelona, São Paulo, Tokyo and Cape Town.
