This year PrimaveraPro kicks off with a massive opening party at the legendary "La [2] de Apolo" club in Barcelona, sponsored by Canadian Music Week, with performances by Canadian artists Foam Lake, Reignwolf (aka Jordan Cook) and Cadence Weapon. The show starts on Wednesday May 30 at 6pm and ends at 10pm, giving you time to head over to the Arc de Triomf for more unmissable acts.

Canada´s presence at PrimaveraPro will include performances by Cadence Weapon, Hot Panda, Foam Lake, Jenn Grant, Liz Coyles and Reign Wolf (aka Jordan Cook), who will showcase their unique talent at the opening party, DayPro and NightPro. The expedition is generously sponsored by Sask Music, Slaight Music, Canadian Music Week and MROC, and is organised by Export Results, a company dedicated to launching the careers of Canadian talent worldwide.

Independent Music Exporters South Africa (IMEXSA) is a non-profit organisation dedicated to developing South African music around the world. This year IMEXSA brings two outstanding South African acts to PrimaveraPro - Durban rapper Abdus, creator of innovative hip-hop and winner of the award for "Best Lyricist" at the Hype Awards, and Spoek Mathambo, whose smart, dirty vocals and electro-rap has activated dancefloors across the globe.
