It's time. Time to announce the first 17 artists slated to play Iceland Airwaves 2014! Iceland Airwaves 2013 was nothing short of amazing and with your help we'll make this year's edition even better. It will all take place in Reykjavík Nov 5-9.

Drumroll please! We're proud to announce none other than Flaming Lips (US), who will close the festival on Sunday November 9, East India Youth (UK), Samaris, Jungle (UK), Mammút, La Femme (FR), Grísalappalísa, Vök, Jaakko Eino Kalevi (FI), Tiny Ruins (NZ), Muck, Snorri Helgason, Tonik, John Wizards (ZA), Blaenavon (UK), Just Another Snake Cult and Highlands.

A limited amount of tickets for the closing show with Flaming Lips will go on sale on Tuesday February 4 at noon GMT. However, 2200 tickets will be available for Iceland Airwaves ticket holders. Tickets will be handed out on Friday November 7 at noon at Harpa on a first-come-first-served basis. One wristband = One final show ticket.
