Few artists have been able to achieve the level of consistency that Dutch trance icon Armin van Buuren has been able to maintain in his career. Tens of thousands of fans frequently gather to see him spin, and when it comes to tastemakers the proof is in his accolades.

At the recent Winter Music Conference in Miami, Armin talked about his latest album he has been working on for some time now and admits that he actually has too many tracks to fit on there.

"I have about 21 songs that are serious candidates for ending up on the final product," he offered. "I have too many tracks. I just hate the fact that you can only put about 78 minutes on a CD, and I don't want to really go with, like, a double album."

Armin has also admitted that he will once again be working alongside his brother Eller whom has appeared on many of Armin's tracks as well as live alongside him at some of his gigs.

"I can tell you that my brother will be involved again," he said. "He's a guitar player and I've used him on a lot of the tracks and he helped me with writing a lot of the melodies."

It seems that once again Armin is going to be as busy as ever and who can blame him.

Armin Van Buuren will be performing on the legendary Godskitchen Boombox at this year's GlobalGathering. His three hour set last year was one of the highlights of the festival with crowds running a dozen deep outside of the tent as fans descended on the tent in their ten's of thousands so make sure you get in there early to make sure you get a slice of the action.
