We`re very pleased to announce Heavyball as the first band for Freedom Sounds 2018. Their new album "When Can You Start?" describes a week in the life of an ordinary office worker. It`s his last week on earth, but he doesn`t know it yet. The 4-piece band from Nottingham stand in the great British tradition of bands like the Kinks, the Jam or The Specials combining social commentary with a dry sense of humour, great melodies and driving guitars. They call it New Tone. We call them one of the most exciting new bands we have heard in recent times.
