Piknik was created in 1995 as a studio project by Mr. Bandar. Up to 2006, many albums were created that went unreleased, as a result of musical experimentation at the Piknik Studio. During those years, Piknik has gained a large fan base due to their songs being played on the radio and TV stations in Serbia, and in the end, earned a right to release an official album! In 2007, "Miš, Pu? i Ker" was released for SKC NS, and only stirred up the atmosphere with the fans, who demanded live performances of the band. The band started playing live, and shortly after that released the second, "Dembelan" album in 2008. There is no genre that can describe the music of the band; elements of hardcore, punk, pop-rock, thrash metal, electro-industrial and folk are all present, though recent singles are leaning more towards the heavier, guitar-oriented style.
