The programme for this year’s Dour festival continues to expand, bit by bit. This time, we’re starting off with some «experimental, rock‘n’roll» and ending up with a touch of «pop». 4-day tickets are available for only Euro 85. A 1-day ticket costs just Euros 40.

Animal Collective will play a 90 minute upbeat mega show in a marquee on Friday night. Three new names have been added to this night of experimental sounds. Fuck Buttons experimental-electro pop psychédélique noise Fuck Buttons is an electro/noise duo from Bristol, one of the most prolific cities for music produced today. Their influences are diverse and vary from noise to pop, cacophonic to melodic. Long tracks “like the sun rising over the ocean…then going supernova”, as described by Pitchfork. An unmissable experience to keep you uplifted after the 1:30am show, just before Animal Collective… Richard Devine idm electro Richard Devine is one who has often been described on the electronic scene as the American Aphex Twin. This influential producer and musician brings us heavily mastered, chaotic breaks, generally based on a mechanical, factory universe. His frenetic clicks are monumental to hard tech music, producing tracks with rich ideas and different sounds. Bogdan Raczynski breakcore experimental-electro Young Polish prodigy specialising in electro music since 1995, Bogdan Raczynski was quickly spotted by Aphex Twin, which got him recording his debut albums on the Rephlex label. His music is as chaotic as his life (he grew up in Poland, the US, Japan and the UK) and he is sure to remind some of Squarepusher. The ultra-elaborate, frenetic and epileptic beats rarely drop below 200 bpm. Infantile melodies and apocalyptic breaks also feature in his musical compositions. His talents have him singing in English, Japanese and Polish. His last album, Alright! brought him big success! Monotonix is a trio of Israelians, made up of one voice, one guitar and a drum. Their show is a mix of rock, pagan rituals, wild nudity, strange riffs and above all, decadence.
