For TGE 2022 we had the honour of Ireland being our lead country partner. This was the second time that Ireland have been our lead country partner and it was a pleasure to see them bringing more Irish talent to TGE than ever before. Festival goers got to check out the popular dedicated Irish showcases across the weekend as well as finding 18 Irish artists playing across the festival line up as a whole. Delegates had the opportunity to meet the team from Music From Ireland at the MFI Networking Reception with Country Connections at our main delegates hub, Jurys Inn.

Angela Dorgan from Music From Ireland said:

"It was a major highlight for Music From Ireland to be back at The Great Escape and back in the Prince Albert after three long years away, but it was especially great to be there as Lead Country Partner with 18 of Ireland's brightest and best talent. All of Brighton seemed to be buzzing about one Irish act or another and industry professionals were packed into our shows. We look forward to seeing the fruits of all of this is the coming months and hope to see many Irish artists touring up and down Britain as a result.'
