Not only is Stop Making Sense a dance music festival, it is a getaway mini break all rolled into one tidy package. So, why not come along to the sea & sun for a week or so and chill, explore, dive and dance.

WHEN IN TISNO

Boat charter
After or before SMS charter your own boat and sail around the numerous islands scattered along the coast. Boats are usually rented for 1 week, and comes complete with skipper so you can remain fully relaxed and carefree! It's probably the coolest way to attend the festival, mooring in the bay right in front of the festival site for the weekend and spending the rest of the week sailing amongst the islands.

In high season boats are usually rented for 1 week Saturday-Saturday. However, I have certain boats that I can offer Wednesday-Wednesday, or Thursday-Thursday..but, it has to be 1 week
People can charter a boat with skipper and get fully relaxed and care free J
I think it is the best way to attend festival really; over the weekend they get moored in the bay in front, and rest of teh days they go sailing amongst the islands, simply great!

National Park // Kornati Islands

kornati islands
The Kornatic Archipelago of Croatia, also known as the Stomorski islands is the densest archipelago in the Mediterranean Sea. Ranging from small to large, the islands are picturesque and many fall into the National Park, where wild and marine life are conserved. There are numerous tours and dives you can take part in. And it's not too far from the festival toward Zadar and Sibenik.

National Park // Krka Waterfalls

Krk_waterfalls
The National Park encompasses 109 square km along the Krka River northeast of Sibenik. At the park there are several spots worth a visit, including some stunning footpaths longing to be explored and boat trips ready to take you on a bit of an adventure.
One highlight is Skradinski buk, a massive, clear natural pool with high waterfalls and one end and cascades at the other. Along the river there are 17 waterfalls each differing in height, which allow various effects caused by the play of light and whirlpools. No surprise then that Skradinski buk is considered one of the most beautiful calcium carbonate waterfalls in Europe.

Water taxis
Last year we were thrilled with zipping around the dalmation coast via boat taxi. Leaving from the festival site's pier, and taking you directly to the town centre, you've never felt or looked cooler jetting around, sunshine, hair blowing in the wind.
Water taxis also take you direct to Barbarella's Discotheque for late night after parties (included in your weekender ticket).
It is literally, the only way you want to get around Tisno. Total bliss.
Cost:

Beaches
For a secret sandy beach, take a trip to Jazina on Tisno's mainland (1000m from Tisno bridge) or take a trip to Lovisca, on the island side of Tisno (across Tisno bridge, veer right 800m) and wander toward St. Andrews beach in the opposite direction (across Tisno bridge, head left 800m)

Boutique hotel

Diving
Get your scuba on and witness the world below Croatia's crystal blue wonderland. You can take a course, or if you already have your licence experience what Tisno has to offer. They can even take you along to Kornati National Park's islands. See a gorgonian up close (whatever a gorgonian is)!

Bungee jump
