Having pulverised Poland, the Sonisphere steamroller is now in Switzerland. Enjoying glorious sunshine during the first show of the tour meant the pouring rain came as a bit of a shock, but we're sure it's nothing Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth and Anthrax can?t fix, particularly as we've got Motorhead, Alice in Chains, Stone Sour, Rise Against and Volbeat on the bill as well. The show tomorrow goes on pretty much all night, with Amon Amarth not even taking to the stage until nearly 1am and Dear Superstar not coming off until close to 5am we probably won?t sleep again.

The party?s already started though with a six-band bill that Airbourne are headlining. Team Sonisphere are about to venture back out into the rain and mud. we're based in a curious space over here. It appears the reputation of the personal hygiene of the hairiest member of Team Sonisphere must have arrived before we did as we're located underground in a nuclear bunker featuring a decontamination chamber (we kid you not), enough potatoes in catering to feed an army of space marines and a sense that if there was a zombie apocalypse this wouldn?t be a bad place to hide out.
