| For years, Werchter has been waking up to endless rows of cars on Thursday morning, when the festival starts. The influx of festival-goers will be optimized when a number of camp sites open earlier on Wednesday. We have consciously opted to open only 3 ? be it big ? camp sites, since they are not situated in a residential area. The festival organisers do not have the intention to organise a camp-site festival on Wednesday evening. At the camp site there will be just some good food and drinks available. Just a nice get-together, that's what it's all about. All of this in order to minimize inconvenience for the locals. |
