As usual during the week of the festival, the Apolo hold a series of showcases hosted by different record labels. The first event in the programme will be on the night of Wednesday 30th May after the free concerts that will take place at the Arc de Triomf. The stage of the Barcelona venue will be taken over by the Captured Tracks band, Beach Fossils and by pop from Tennis and Chairlift, all of which have just released impressive new albums.

San Miguel Primavera Sound will also will host the third edition of PrimaverPro, international music industry meeting, that will take place in Barcelona from the 30th May until 1st June during San Miguel Primavera Sound festival, that revolves around the showcases by newcomer bands that hope to get into the music market. This first batch of confirmations for PrimaveraPro presents artists from different European countries that will play on the adidas Originals stage in the Parc del Fòrum. From Holland come Rats On Rafts and representing Italy will be the two bands, Boxeur the Coeur and King of the Opera. Poland will participate for the second time and this time they will bring us Kristen and Ed Wood. Luxemburg will be there too with two proposals: Mutiny on the Bounty and Inborn!

There are also novelties among the bands that will play in the Parc del Fòrum; the British band Wild Beasts will play on Saturday 2nd June.
