Today we have announced more details about the TGE Online Conference that will take place this May, with the first three keynote in-conversations confirmed.

Delegates at TGE Online will have access to a programme of expert briefings, networking sessions, keynote interviews, panel discussions and educational workshops, helping them to meet, question, connect with and learn from people working in every strand of the music industry from markets all over the world.

Our keynote in-conversations are thirty-minute in-depth interviews with leading industry innovators and disruptors. We will talk each keynote guest through their career to date, their current projects and businesses, and their views and insights on the key opportunities and challenges facing the music industry today.

Confirmed interviewees for 2021 include...

Merck Mercuriadis, veteran artist manager and founder and CEO of the Hipgnosis Songs Fund. Through Hipgnosis, Merck has single-handedly changed the narrative of the global music rights industry, and has signed numerous headline-grabbing deals with artists and songwriters like Debbie Harry, Chrissie Hynde, The Chainsmokers, Timbaland, Dave Stewart, Fraser T Smith, Johnny McDaid and Mark Ronson.

Nadia Khan, the leading artist manager and label owner who heads up CTRL Management and the labels DENCH Records and CTRL Records. She is also founder of Women In CTRL, an organisation that seeks to empower women in the music and creative industries, breaking down barriers to career progression. Through Women In CTRL, Nadia has published a series of impactful reports putting the spotlight on the need for more diversity in the music and media sectors. She is also Chair of the UK's Association Of Independent Music.

Wendy Ong, President of TaP Management and TaP Records in America, who oversees US-related management and label activities for a diverse roster of artists, including Lana Del Rey, Dua Lipa, Ellie Goulding and Hailee Steinfeld. Wendy has a track record of breaking artists in every corner of the globe, having previously held senior marketing roles at major labels like Interscope and Arista, and as CMO at Roc Nation, before joining TaP Music in 2018.

The keynote interviews sit at the heart of the TGE Online Conference programme, alongside the CMU+TGE strands that this year put the spotlight on future music talent, future music strategies and the future music world, plus a series of panels from our industry partners, beginner's guide webinars from TGE Elevate, and numerous networking opportunities.
