?ibenik, 09/08/2013. - After the furious opening of the festival, the second day continued with a great atmosphere and a more alternative approach to music. Bosnian Rainbows, the band who features two former members (Omar Rodriguez-Lopez and Deantoni Parks) of the Mars Volta opened the Terra Stage.

After them, the post-punk veterans Gang of Four, led by Andy Gill climbed the stage. The very first highlight of the evening came from Calexico. Already after a few notes, it was clear that the fusion of American, Mexican and Cuban music made the perfect soundtrack for a warm summer night of the third issue of Terraneo.

The full Terra Stage enjoyed world music fusion the Arizona way, and as the Calexico performance was coming to an end, the amount of free earplugs at the festival information desk was slowly decreasing. It was a definite sign that the performance of one of the loudest bands in the world - My Bloody Valentine - was getting closer. After waking up from twenty years of discographical sleep, the uncompromising shoegaze pioneers kept all of ?ibenik awake last night wth their performance. The first rows were reserved for the brave and the rest of the audience listened to the concert from a safer distance. Their unique yet beautiful appearance ended in a ten-minute psychedelic ending enjoyed by all those who expected a dose of true alternative rock from Terraneo.

My Bloody Valentine were followed by an excellent performance of the equally eclectic band with a lag for electronic music called Pinkunoizu. The second evening of the festival, Rob Garza closed the main stage with his deep house DJ set. After a great performance last year with Thievery Corporation. Garza returned to ?ibenik and reaffirmed that Terraneo become his new favorite summer festival.

The lineup of Aqua stage also offered a dose of alternative rock music with Icarus Down, an unbridled performance of the Vinkovci trio Pun?ke and the ever unique singer-songwriter Duncan Sheik. Postolar Tripper with their mixture of ska and hip hop music, were a great introduction to the highlight of the evening on the second festival stage - the comeback performance of Dubioza Kolektiv. There obvously is a secret bond between Terraneo, ?ibenik and Dubioza Kolektiv because Aqua stage was packed full, and the audience greeted the entire concert with dancing, singing and chanting choruses from their known hits such as Blam Blam, Marijuana or Sumo, and the great new songs from their current album Apsurdistan. Aqua stage was closed by the inimitable Mambo Kurt who continued the tradition of wacky morning show performances at Terraneo.

About 10,000 visitors enjoyed the second night of Terraneo, and all stages were equally visited. The Red Bull Music Academy Stage offered DJ names such as Davor O, Audio InFunktion, Maja Milic, Jesse Boykins III, Tokimonsta and Rustam Ospanoff.

The third day of Terraneo will unravel the Wu Tang Clan, Aloe Blacc, The Cribbs, Dubfire, The Bots and many others. The entire program schedule can be viewed at http://www.terraneofestival.com/raspored/.
