Today, Adi lives in Amsterdam and spins at local drum & bass events all around the country. She also graduated from the School Of Audio Engineering in Amsterdam,(SAE).

Adi's style of Drum&Bass is various and very up to date. She can mix very hard with dance floor tracks at big raves. On the other hand she has her own weekly chill event where you can listen to all of her funky and vocal stuff.

Adi has the talent to mix up new and old tracks in the best order to make it sound perfect. She knows how to read the crowd and to cut at the right time.

Adi is a unique character who knows how to get things moving and get the crowd dancing and cheering.

Q.  What tunes are you listening to at the moment and why?

A. I am listening to a lot of diverse music. I play a monthly show for the prspct radio app. It's called "50 shades of drum and bass" and so I can play anything from basic minimalistic soulful tracks, and till heavy banging hitters and neuro vibes.

I must say that I am a big follower of rebel music ( by ben green ) love the vibes they bring in and the freshness in new and solid names from the scene, such as: kolectiv, creatures, dark ops, why check, and my old favourites: zerozero & Disphonia

Q. From your perspective, how have things changed for womxn in the  drumandbass community in recent years? What would be your hopes going forward?

A. I think awareness is growing and so the gap and difference between the genders are lessening. I see a lot of new talents coming up, but also plenty of older talents making a comeback and pushing into radio shows, live streams, and big labels! Love it!

I also think EQ50 are doing a great job educating and pushing the new generation of talents.

Obviously I have hope, I always had hope, nothing changed.

Q. 2020 has been a tough year for a lot of us, has it affected your  creative output in any way? Is there something that you learned or  rediscovered about yourself during this time?

2020 has been mad for me, as for everyone else.

I miss my music mates and playing a livestream every other week, it's not the same, but it keeps me on point, and I imagine that I am playing for a sweaty lovely crowded on a beach stage at sun and bass, while I am inside, at a dark club, with not more than two people, and a camera.

My music passion was replaced with another creative side of mine, and I try to make the best of every given moment. I've discovered I have a lot in me to give to others, and to set an example for others to keep on going. No, I dont think it's simple, or any sort of fun, but it is what it is, and it gets us closer to our roots and self being.
