WARMING UP

We had a quick chat with Warm boss Ali Tillett who also happens to be agent extraordinaire at ELASTIC ARTISTS. He's back with his crew of NICK HOPPNER and GERD JANSON this year. So here are a few wise words from the purveyor of up and coming and established artists alike.

WHAT ARE YOU MUSICAL PLANS FOR 20114?

Continue our residencies at BUSSEY BUILDING and PLASTIC PEOPLE in London and also kick start our new residency in Bournemouth at SIXTY MILLION POSTCARDS. On top of that there are heated talks between us all that we might re-ignite the Warm record label but lets see if we find any anthems...

WHO DID YOU RATE IN 2013?

Too many to mention, I can't remember a year where it was so packed full of artists - everyday there was a track I liked but another artist I had never heard of. If I had to pick a couple then I would say the Foals LP was the one I listened to the most out of everything all year and the most played track was Howling's Shortline track.

WHO SHOULD WE LOOK OUT FOR IN 2014?

Too many to mention but i think all this lot who I work with closely will definitely be much talked about this year due to their forthcoming long players: WIFE, Stubborn Heart, Lapalux, Howling, Kindness, Tiger & Woods and Fort Romeau - so quite a few.

YOUR 3 DESERT ISLAND DISCS?

Terry Callier - Ordinary Joe
Archie Bell & The Drells - Don't Let Love Get You Down
Bruce Hornsby - The Way It Is

And keeping you warm this afternoon, a couple more selections from Ali
