Friday, the second day of Sónar+D, has a female twist to the schedule and many activities in all the areas.

Sputniko!, the popular Japanese artist and designer, will be giving us a keynote on technology, feminism and pop culture. The activist has become one of the leading voices in this field thanks to her artistic output and her work in the Design Fictions Group at the MIT Media Lab.

Stephanie Pereira, the director of the artistic programme at Kickstarter -the world's largest crowdfunding platform for creative projects- will be talking to the entrepreneur Martin Varsavsky on the requirements necessary to create a successful campaign, in the roundtable Kickstarter Lessons.

Both Sputniko! and Pereira will be joining forces with the renowned artistic producer Keri Elmsly at one of the central conferences of the day at Sónar+D, Women Talent, an inspirational encounter between three prominent professionals in a territory where they are still a minority.

In Transmedia Projects in the Audiovisual Industry the entrepreneurs and creative talents Camil Roca, Jamal Edwards and Miguel Ángel Blanca will be analyzing new models of viral content and communication channels, and probing the keys that explain the impact and visibility of an idea or a project in a multifunctional environment.

Friday sees another intense day at SonarCinema, with the presentation of the work by the audiovisual production company CANADA, based in Barcelona with an international profile, and the presence of Spoek Mathambo to explain the filming and production process behind "The Future Sound of Mzansi" just prior to its projection.

The Stage+1 at Sónar+D hosts some of the leading companies at MarketLab: the designers of the Interface Culture Lab at the Kunstuniversität de Linz will be playing their unusual instruments; the Belgian studio Superbe will be presenting two of their flagship devices, Geometric Music and Minimom; and we will also take a look at the workings of the Gramofon, a router system that allows easy access to all the music you have in the cloud.

Another of the day's highlights will take place at 1pm, with the presentation of the project DESPACIO, the meeting that gathers all minds involved in the technological challenges behind DESPACIO, one of the most expected shows of Sónar 2014. James Murphy and 2manydjs will join Charlie Randall and Ellis Reid from McIntosh and John Klett from Mecca Tech Inc. (For PRO accredited only. Limited capacities)

All this and much more on the second day of Sónar+D.
