Thank you, festival attendees, for your calm actions and the help you offered so spontaneously.

Thank you, families and friends of our visitors, local residents, shopkeepers and many other sympathetic people, for the wave of solidarity that swelled up in the world outside shortly after what happened.

Thank you to all the security services, authorities and emergency response workers, for your quick and efficient response in what was an extraordinary situation for you as well.

Thank you to the associations and local committees who came back in the days following the disaster and continued to volunteer their services.

Thank you to the City of Hasselt, for your excellent partnership and courageous response in the aftermath of the disaster.

Thank you to everyone for the messages of support and sympathy that we have received, and for your compassion and respect for those who were affected by the disaster.

Thank you to the festival visitors, parents, staff, friends, artists, colleagues, sponsors, agents, managers and booking offices and the many, many others who have let us know through various channels that we are not alone in this.

Our thanks can never be sufficient to express our gratitude to you.
