National Philharmonic Of Ukraine To Open The Festival

The eighteenth edition of the Tren?ín-based festival will be opened by a gala concert of Symphonic Orchestra of National Philharmonic of Ukraine. This musical ensemble was founded in 1995 and has gradually become one of the most respected orchestras of its kind in Ukraine and one of the best symphonic orchestras in Eastern Europe. Under the baton of respected conductor Roman Kofman, the Ukrainians will play Pictures at an Exhibition by Russian composer Modest Petrovich Mussorgsky as well as composition Carpathian Concerto for Large Orchestra by Ukrainian composer Myroslav Skoryk. We do care about what is happening in Ukraine and are proud that it is the Ukrainian Philharmonic that will be opening our festival. We appreciate that the orchestra accepted our offer; the performance will close with the final part of Mussorgsky's Pictures at an Exhibition - The Great Gate of Kiev .
