If we were to pick decent successors of the German electronic school - which was founded by the legendary Kraftwerk - Daniel Brandt, Jan Brauer and Paul Frick would sure be on the list. However, their usual method of creating music is the opposite of what the legends mentioned above do - this trio creates progressive techno with acoustic instruments. At Ba?ant Pohoda 2014, they will be playing not only as a trio, but also as the Brandt Brauer Frick Ensemble featuring a 10-member orchestra, so jazz extraordinariness of Daniel and Jan and experimental talent of Paul who studied classical and modern composition at Universität der Künste in Berlin can be unleashed. Brandt Brauer Frick may sound like a name for a law firm, but it actually is a kind of music that will rack your brains. At the same time, your body is in for lots of fun in the dance craziness... The idea of dancing to an acoustic orchestra that plays contemporary classical music might sound a bit off the wall, but in summer you'll find out it's not entirely impossible...
