Fresh faced and shaven Whipping Boy return to live action with a series of gigs through May and June.  Now in the grips of a mid-life crisis, they've found there rock n roll animal again and feel the need to pursue the beast the length and breadth Ireland

Whipping Boy'sr 1995 album "Heartworm' received masses of critical acclaim and tracks like "Twinkle', "Morning Rise' and "We Don't Need Anyone Else' regularly charted in Dave Fanning's end of year Fab 50. Released just a few months after the Radiohead masterpiece "The Bends', for many Irish fans this is every bit its equal but it never quite brought Whipping Boy the mainstream success their talents deserved.
