Interview: Apollo Brown & Ras Kass


Ich muss gestehen: Ich bin seit Jahren ein großer Apollo Brown Fan. Als ich das erste Mal davon hörte, dass er ein Album mit Ras macht habe ich mich gefreut wie ein Kind an seinem 10. Geburtstag. Es ist einfach eine der Kollaborationen, von denen ich immer geträumt habe. Auf ihrer gemeinsamen Europa-Tour habe ich sie in Stuttgart abgepasst und die Gelegenheit genutzt mich kurz mit ihnen zu unterhalten. Wir sprachen über die Unterschiede zwischen Europa und den USA, das Musik Business und die Schweiz. Schaut euch einfach das Video an und hinterlasst einen Kommentar, wenn ihr möchtet.

So wie es Betty Wright am Anfang von "48 Laws (Part 1)" besingt: "If you're smart, you'll take my advice! Believe me, I know!"

I have to confess: I've been a huge Apollo Brown fan for years. When I first heard that he'll be doing an album with Ras, I literally jumped up! It's one of those collaborations I always dreamed of. To put it in a nutshell: I am a fan of Apollo. I am a fan of Ras. And I am definitely a fan ob ‚Blasphemy".

While being on tour in Europe, I had the chance to meet them. We talked about the difference between Europe and the United States, the music business and Switzerland.
