Like every year, the Foundation 2 of Montreux Jazz Festival is organizing a solo piano competition at the Montreux Palace (with the Partner Parmigiani).
For this 14th edition, 33 young talents from 22 different countries have submitted their applications and 11 of them participated in the semi finals of July 8th and 9th.
 
The final of July 10th opposes the three finest pianists of this edition. The winners are : 
 
1st prize Marialy Pacheco (Cuba-Australia)
2nd prize Alex Pryrodny (Ukrania)
3rd prize Cezara-Lucia Vlădescu (Romania-Germany)
