Melters, we"re just some hours away from our big birthday bash and we really can"t wait to welcome everyone of you in Ferropolis. Sure you already got your glitter, prepared your confetti guns and sorted out your festival outfit. Before you get on your trip, here are some tips and recommendations for your trip to Melt Festival 2017!

Arrival by train

We recommend the eco-friendly way for your trip to Melt. From the train stations of Dessau, Gräfenhainichen and Wittenberg, our shuttle busses will bring you straight to the festival grounds. Click here to see the full bus schedule.

Arrival by car

If you"re traveling to your favorite festival by car, we recommend using the highway A9 with the exit Dessau Ost. The way to Melt will be signposted from there. Arrived in Ferropolis, we"re offering free parking areas which will be guarded by our security team all day and night. If you have free seats in your car feel free to offer these via carpooling, protect the environment and meet new Melt friends.

No clue how to get to Melt? Our friends from fahrfahraway are offering a tool to find and offer free seats to Melt. This way you can fill your car, share the costs, meet new friends and also spares the environment. What more do you want?

Arrival by bus or via plane

If you"re coming from a more distant city, we recommend using the bus as eco-friendly alternative. Our friends from busnetworx are offering seats from more than 100 cities in Germany and Europe, including the airports of Berlin, Frankfurt am Main and Amsterdam. In addition, the Berlin-Shuttle is connecting Berlin Schönefeld Airport and Berlin Hauptbahnhof (main station) with the festival grounds.

Our Melt checklist

With these tips and recommendations, you're well prepared for the best time in the world at Melt Festival 2017. Here we lined up anything else what you should bring with you beneath duct tape, sun cream and a lot of Tetra Paks:

-1. Ticket: Don"t miss bringing your ticket! If you want to kick off Melt early don"t hesitate and join us at the pre-party with Fatboy Slim on Thursday. Get your ticket here.

-2. Ticket activation: To prevent theft and fraud, our tickets are personalized. Please activate your ticket via login.meltfestival.de and you"re almost ready!

-3. Top up credit: Melt 2017 is all about cashless payment. You can top up credit in advance as well as on-site. If you"re topping up via Masterpass? there will be a nice surprise. Make sure to check it out! Also, you can already book articles such like the service flat or the beer tray.

-4. Melt app: Stay up to date with our official festival app, create your personal running order or check this year's yummy food-lineup.

-5. Good vibes: Last but not least you should bring good vibes only to make the festival to the best time in the world with thousands of friends. We do not accept any kind of xenophobic, sexist, homophobic or discriminating behavior! Be careful, be attentive and be helpful. Together we are strong!

Tickets

Good to know: we still have some tickets in stock for you guys. So it"s not too late to join #20yearsofmelt and to get your Weekend-, Day- or limited 5-Friends-tickets, with which you can save 15,00 Eur per ticket. In addition, you can buy tickets at the box office at the guest list entrance, right next to the federal road 107.
