The Dead 60s have announced they will be reforming for a set of six UK shows in April 2017, including headlining day 1 of The London Intl Ska Festival.

The band, featuring Matt McManamon, Ben Gordon, Charlie Turner and Bryan Johnson, burst onto the scene in 2005 with their Central Nervous System produced eponymous debut album & limited edition Space Invader dub album released through Liverpool label, Deltasonic Records. A string of singles accompanied the release including breakthrough hit Riot Radio.

Inspired by Gang of Four, Jackie Mittoo, King Tubby and The Clash, the band's energised live performances and potent mix of punk, dub & horrorcore ska ignited audiences globally, winning over fans & critics alike and landing them key festival appearances at Lollapalooza, Glastonbury and Rock En Seine, as well as opening slots on tour with Morrissey, Kasabian and with label mates The Coral.

2007 found The Dead 60s embarking on a number of collaborations including their own signature jacket with Fred Perry and a compilation for legendary reggae label Trojan Records, Riot Radio Broadcast.

The band issued a statement in Feb 2008 announcing their split. Members have since pursued other musical careers, the most recent being Matt McManamon guesting as The Specials lead guitarist.

2017 sees The Dead 60s return to the stage for a limited run of shows, including headlining day 1 of The London Intl Ska Festival, with support from Pama International on all dates.
